Sports Injuries & Growing Pains
As kids grow, their bodies go through rapid changes - and sometimes that shows up as pain,
stiffness, or injuries that get in the way of sport, dance, PE, or just keeping up with friends.
We support school-aged kids and teens through growth-related pain and sports injuries,
helping them get back to what they love - confidently and safely.
We Can Help With
Growing Pains
Aches in the legs, knees, or heels that come and go, especially after activity
Ankle Sprains & Rolled Ankles
From sport, dance, or everyday knocks and missteps
Sever's Disease- Heal Pain
Common in active kids aged 8-14, especially during growth spurts
Overuse Injuries
From running, jumping, or repetitive sport and dance training
Osgood- Schlatter disease- Knee Pain
A common cause of pain just below the kneecap in growing athletes
Back and Posture Pain
Including discomfort from heavy school bags or prolonged sitting
How It Works
You don't need a long-term program to get help with a sports injury or a growing pain. We offer:
-
One-off assessment visits: book an appointment, get assessed, leave with a clear plan and home exercises. No ongoing commitment required.
-
Follow-up visits as needed: if things don't settle, or your child has a niggle down the track, book straight back in.
-
Structured rehab plans: for more significant injuries that require a short course of treatment to return to sport safely.
-
Return-to-sport progression: for athletes coming back from a more significant injury, moving from rehab to full training and competition with confidence.
Who this is For
Kids and teens aged roughly 8–16 who are active in sport, dance, gymnastics, or general play,
and are dealing with pain, an injury, or a niggle that's affecting how they move.
